WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY

Observed on the 19^th of August, it is an international day dedicated to recognise humanitarian personnel and those who have died working for humanitarian causes. The aim is to promote the well-being, survival and dignity of those affected by disasters around the world. Such  day marks the anniversary of the 2003 bomb attack on the UN headquarters At Canal Hotel in Baghdad (Iraq) killing 22 humanitarian workers. #EUROGENDFOR #Lexpaciferat
