Established in 1850, the Romanian Gendarmerie celebrates its 174th anniversary on the 3th of April. As one of the main pillars within the framework of Romania’s law enforcement agencies, the Romanian Gendarmerie performed a pivotal role in maintaining public order, upholding the rule of law and protecting communities. On occasion of such significant celebration, a delegation from #EUROGENDFOR composed by Commander Col. Hans Vroegh, Deputy Commander Col. Marian Panfil and Chief of Staff Col. Laureano Martín Velasco has paid a visit to Romanian Gendarmerie Head Quarters, where they have been warmly welcomed by the General Inspector and other authorities and taken the opportunity to have strategic discussions with each other. #LexPaciferat.
